Becoming Demonized through Excessive Sin

When considering a Christian’s steps to deliverance one must pay attention to the sin. Excessive sin is a way in which a Christian may potentially become demonized. When a Christian willfully continues to sin through rebellion and the rejection of the Word of God an open door to Satan is created.
The Bible shows that all Christians sin. But in 1 John chapter 2 we are reminded that if we sin we have Jesus Christ as our advocate with the Father. When we feel that we have sinned in an area of our lives we must quickly confess this sin and remain in a good relationship with the Lord.
1 John 1:9:If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
When a Christian purposely rejects the leading of the Holy Spirit to repent, an open door may be created for demonic activity to occur. This is particularly true of sin that becomes excessive. When we live recklessly or without a repentant heart God will allow us to have a mind that is corrupt and reprobate.Romans 1:28: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
A Christian cannot adopt the attitude that demons cannot affect them in anyway. This statement is only true as we walk humbly before the Lord and live in a repentant manner. In addition, Christians must not sin on purpose and then ask for forgiveness. Jesus knows the intents of our hearts and is watching. With all this in mind we must remember what seems like an impossible case for us as a Christian or as a Christian minister is possible with God. All things are possible with God.
When a Christian will seek the Lord on a daily basis there should be no fear of being demonized. The strongest part of you that is considered a gift from God is your will. God has given every person a will to choose. When we align our will up with the will of God then no demon will be able to touch you.
Ephesians 6:10: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Putting Jesus first in your life is important, especially in the last hour of the Church of the Lord. We must stand strong for ourselves and for the people we are standing in the gap for in prayer. Beware of becoming Demonized through excessive sin.

Having sex outside of marriage brings danger to a person’s body, soul and spirit. If a person has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord there should be a guard up against this sin. Fornication is simply having sex with a person when you are not married with them. Fornication is considered to be a “Sexual Sin” and can cause damage to your mental, spiritual and emotional well-being. Sin will only bring satisfaction for a short period of time.
1 Corinthians 6:15-19 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
These scriptures show the danger of fornication. When we become born again we are joined to Christ in the spirit realms. This scripture also shows that when we commit fornication we shall be one in the flesh and one in the spirit with whoever we have sex with. This fact can be multiplied many times when we consider multiple partners. This simply means that when we have sex with someone outside of marriage we are taking on all the spirits that are inside that person as well. This fact alone is why people that are not married should flee or stay away or run away from fornication. Fornication may bring pleasure in the flesh but is detrimental in the spirit realms.
A person that says they are a Christian and participates in fornication will not be free from evil spirits. In vs 15 we see that our bodies are the members of Christ when we become a Christian and we should not join them with anyone else outside of marriage or premarital sex. This includes heterosexual and homosexual. This scripture says God forbid. A harlot is the term for a prostitute or a promiscuous woman. The fact that you just have one partner or many partners is not the issue here. Joining your members to a person outside of marriage will cause demonic things to happen in the spiritual realms whether you are a Christian or not. Please do not try to use Christianity as a reason to think that you will be free from demons. If you go out as a Christian and commit fornication you will be under demon influence. As I have mentioned in previous articles, demon possession, oppression, obsession or influence, you are still be tormented by demons and will need the ministry of deliverance. Even Christians are not allowed to violate spiritual laws and get away with it
